Raw rock, folk roots, and a taste for exploration.
Lost Darling is a trio exploring the territory between rock and folk, instinct and experimentation. A living, breathing music, free to follow its own paths, where voice, guitar, bass and drums come together without smoothing away the rough edges.
A project born within the musical universe of Mary Zoo.

THE MUSICIANS
Three musical journeys, three distinct sensibilities, one shared space for rock, folk influences and experimentation.

Christine Zufferey
VOCALS · GUITAR
Originally from Valais, Switzerland, and now based in France, Christine Zufferey spent fifteen years in the United States, where she studied film-score composition and explored a wide range of musical worlds. From Boston’s underground rock scene to multimedia projects and trance, house and dance music, her journey crosses styles and borders.
She has performed with All the Queen’s Men, January, Sabot and Ziaf, taken part in the multimedia project Bring Us Your Women, and lent her voice to Héliophase. She has also opened for Rodrigo y Gabriela at the Olympia in Paris. In Lost Darling, her voice and guitar are at the heart of a sound where raw energy, folk sensibility and a spirit of exploration meet.
Dom Chopin
BASS
A stage and studio musician since 1977, Dom Chopin has worked with numerous artists, including Tim Skylbeck, Jean-Michel Piton, Joan-Pau Verdier, Marla Glen, Yannick Jaulin and Graeme Allwright, as well as Le Gang, Les Dièses, Texas Bop and One Man Chopin Crooner.
He joined Mary Zoo in 2023, bringing extensive live experience and a bass approach that moves between rhythmic grounding and melodic freedom. His playing helps connect the band's folk roots with its rock energy.
Laurent Chopin
DRUMS
Laurent Chopin discovered the drums at fifteen and became a professional musician three years later. His career has brought him to perform alongside Patatra Drums (Jean-Marc Lajudie), Félix Blanchard, Frédéric Chauvigné, Marla Glen, Le Gang, Joan-Pau Verdier and Pairagud.
He joined Mary Zoo in 2022. His playing combines an organic foundation with an openness to electronic textures and sounds, balancing physical pulse with sonic exploration. His drumming fuels music that is alive, free and constantly moving.
